The Rinsan Catfish Farm has been inaugurated.
The farm, where farming is put on a scientific, intensive and industrial basis at a high level, has a general control room, hatching ground, fry raising block, and sci-tech learning space.
Its inaugural ceremony took place on June 3.
Present there were Im Hun, chairman of the North Hwanghae Provincial People’s Committee, Jo Tong Chol, vice-chairman of the Provincial Party Committee, relevant officials and locals.
Im Hun said in his inaugural address that builders removed thousands of cubic metres of earth and successfully completed the construction of the farm by applying innovations to the construction of drainage canal and indoor fattening and outdoor fish ponds.
He called on employees to lower feed consumption and production costs, make the maximum use of production capacity and make a breakthrough in reenergizing production, so as to bring about a good haul of catfish in every pond.
After the ceremony was over, the participants looked round the farm.
